Bangladesh has suspended the passports of five citizens suspected of running a trafficking ring involving hundreds of workers in Brunei and asked the government there to deport them, a senior diplomat said on Friday.
Bangladesh’s top diplomat in Brunei said he had received repeated complaints from workers who had paid thousands of dollars to be taken to the wealthy Southeast Asian nation on the promise of jobs that never materialized.

Namibia is located on the coast of Africa, near South Africa. Recently, people have found that 41 tombstones were stolen from Elcin Cemetery, with the intention of being resold. The tombstone have been damaged, and the case is being processed by the police. Not only were the tombs destroyed, but the rest of the cemetery was vandalized. It has been especially traumatizing to families, because some people have not even paid off the debt of the stones yet.

Sri Lanka secures $480m US grant a year after coup
Sri Lanka was given a grant from the US ti improve infrastructure and traffic management. The US withheld the grant last year after Sirisena the president of Sri Lanka sacked Prime Minister Wickremesinghe. With the tension between those two Sirisena refused to sign off on the funds that the government wanted to use to improve the congested traffic in the capitol and suburbs. In November Sirisena won't be in the election to remain the president and he will have to leave office as soon as the winner id elected. Because of the political instability the economic slowed 1.8% in late 2018.

According to SkyNews in an article named for the event the 18 month girl, who was his daughter, was found beaten to death.

One man was killed and more than 30 people were injured as a powerful typhoon bore down on Tokyo on Saturday, bringing with it the heaviest rain and winds in 60 years.
More than six million people were advised to evacuate.
Typhoon Hagibis, which means “speed” in the Philippine language Tagalog, made landfall on Japan’s main island of Honshu late on Saturday, threatening to flood low-lying Tokyo as it coincides with high tide.
The storm, which the government warned could be the strongest to hit Tokyo since 1958, has already brought record-breaking rainfall in Kanagawa prefecture south of Tokyo with a whopping 700 mm (27.6 inches) of rain over 24 hours.
